Background
On 1 December 2009 Con joined Grant as a Partner of Hutchinson Legal. Con’s persuasive, thorough and detailed approach to his legal work, combined with his friendly and optimistic disposition are valued by clients and staff alike.
After completing articles and working with Grant Hutchinson in a commercial law office in Melbourne, Con moved to Hobart in 1998 and obtained employment with the Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia in the Estate Administration area, gaining experience in both the legal and practical aspects of Bankruptcy and Personal Insolvency.
In 2000, Con returned to the same legal office he started with in Melbourne and gained further experience in civil/commercial litigation (including Debt Recovery), bankruptcy and corporate insolvency/liquidations (including Deeds of Company Arrangement and Preference Claims) and employment law (including Employment Contracts and Unfair Dismissals).
In 2005, Con joined Hutchinson Legal and has worked primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Commercial Litigation and Employment Law.
A keen Western Bulldogs supporter, Con manages to balance his legal commitments with a range of sporting and outdoor adventure pursuits including downhill skiing, cycling, indoor soccer and travel.
