Akshay Modgill

Akshay Modgill is a Solicitor at Hutchinson Legal with expertise in Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Estates, Trust Law, Property Law, and Commercial Law. Akshay has practiced in both Trans-Tasman countries, Australia, and New Zealand as a generalist lawyer.

Before joining Hutchinson Legal, Akshay gained valuable experience while living and working in New Zealand with various not-for-profit organisations and law firms. Akshay previously worked in matters relating to Company, Commercial, Property, Employment, Trusts, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Estates Law. Akshay has been admitted in the High Court of New Zealand as a Barrister and Solicitor and in the Supreme Court of Victoria as a Solicitor.

Akshay believes in working with integrity, efficiency, and professionalism whether that be for clients or for the team he is involved in. He values building client relationships within communities and approaches matters with patience and understanding.

 Outside of the office, Akshay loves playing cricket and football, and going to the gym.
