Xia (Summer) Dong

Summer graduated from La Trobe University with a Juris Doctor. During her academic pursuits, she volunteered at the Young Workers Centre and the Wills & Wishes Clinic of the Whittlesea Community Legal Centre, enhancing her practical legal understanding and enriching her passion for the law.

Upon completing her Practice Legal Training at The College of Law, Summer was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian Lawyer. She joined Hutchinson Legal in 2023, where she focuses her practice on Commercial, Corporation, and Property Law.

Prior to her career in law, Summer spent seven years in investment banking and trust corporations in China. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, she excels at offering comprehensive and personalised legal solutions to clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Outside of work, Summer enjoys hiking, singing, and spending quality time with her family.
