...at last we can fly the Australian Flag!

On 1st November 2010 to no fanfare and yet a lot of excitement the Australian Flag was raised for the first time since our move to our Warrandyte Road address.  It hardly seems appropriate to mention the hassles we have had with Council (again) in obtaining an appropriate permit. After gaining approval for the flagpoles they were installed in late October.  Along with most Australians we are pleased to 'fly the flag' which we see as a symbol of not only our unity as a nation but also an expression of our history and hope for the future.  You may note that there is a second flagpole, which we intend to use to fly a corporate flag (and other flags as appropriate).
