Memorial Service for Helen Dixon

The memorial service for Helen Dixon, wife of Henry Dixon*, was held on Sunday, 18 September 2011 at St. Michael's Kalorama. Those who attended were moved to hear of the life Helen led, including her years of service in a variety of areas, including 30 years of dedicated service teaching Christian Religious Education, and her artistic abilities and pursuits.  What came through most clearly, however, was the fact that she was a kind and caring mother to her eight children. Nothing would upset her, and her even temperedness made her the kind of mother every child would love to have. She was very involved with her children's school and anything else her children were involved with.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with Henry and his family during this time of loss.
