Phillip is pleased to have joined the Litigation Team at Hutchinson Legal as a Senior Lawyer. He brings a depth of experience, empathy, and practicality in all his dealings with clients and their legal concerns.
Phillip main areas of practice include commercial litigation in all jurisdictions, contractual disputes, insolvency law, Estate litigation, workplace and employment law, anti-discrimination law, and administrative law.
Phillip was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1990. He has gained extensive working as a solicitor in private law firms, as a sole practitioner and as a consultant. Before he qualified as a lawyer, Phillip worked in university administration.
In recent years, Phillip has also worked at the College of Law and had the opportunity to mentor many fine young lawyers making their way into the profession.
In his spare time, Phillip enjoys relaxing with his family, walking, cycling, musical theatre and barracking for the Geelong Cats.
